Chumash Healing Resort 

Avila Beach, CA

The Chumash Tribal Council is in the planning phases of building a world class Native American Healing Resort at Fossil Point in Avila Beach, California.  A museum, The Turtle Center, will be the highlight of their resort.  The museum, as seen on right, was designed around the concept of Unity; a major part in the Chumash culture. 

Program:

Museum: 20,000 sq.ft.

Curation Center: 2,000 sq.ft.

Restaurant: 2,000 sq.ft.

Gift Shop and Herbal Center: 3,000 sq.ft.

Administration, Library and Research: 3,000 sq.ft.
