The J. Craig Venture Institute is a synthetic biology and bio-energy facility located on the University of Southern California campus in Los Angeles, California.  Synthetic biology is the process of breaking apart organisms to form a new entity.  The building consist of four floors that break apart form its shell, rotating and shifting to create a new identity on site.
